Meet Resources: Our Approach to Data Protection and Security

Meet Resources Team 28 Jul 2026 1 min read

Meet Resources handles sensitive information by design — identity documents, right-to-work status, DBS results, and payment details — so data protection isn't an add-on feature, it's part of how the platform is built.

What we collect, and why

We collect what's needed to verify compliance, match workers to suitable shifts, and process payment correctly — not data beyond that purpose. Full detail on what's collected and why is set out in our privacy policy.

Access is role-based

Not everyone using the platform sees everything. Agencies, hirers, and workers see the information relevant to their role in a placement — compliance status where it's needed to confirm a match, not raw documents shared indiscriminately.

Verified once, referenced securely afterward

Compliance documents are verified and their status tracked centrally, rather than being re-shared and re-uploaded across every agency or hirer a worker interacts with, reducing how many places sensitive documents exist in copies.

Worker visibility into their own data

Workers can see their own compliance status and documents, so understanding what's held about them doesn't require a separate request.

Ongoing responsibility, not a one-time setup

Data protection isn't treated as something configured once and left alone — retention periods, access controls, and security practices are reviewed on an ongoing basis as the platform grows.

Questions about your data

If you have specific questions about your data on Meet Resources, our contact page is the right place to reach us directly.

Why this matters for trust across the platform

Because agencies, hirers, and workers are relying on each other's information — compliance status, shift details, payment records — being handled properly is what makes the whole exchange model trustworthy in the first place.
